About Us
The Club was founded in 1961 with a single wooden court. It has expanded onto its current site on Harlaxton Road where we are proud to provide 6 well maintained courts, a large well-equipped gymnasium and 2 studios for fitness classes and spinning. We are a members’ owned club and have a great community spirit. All profits are invested back into the club which allows us to keep our facilities up to date and our prices competitive. If you and your family have a passion for racket sports or general fitness, then we are here to help you fulfil your needs.
Opening Hours:
Monday – Friday | 7am – 9:30pm
Saturday | 8am – 8:30pm
Sunday | 8am – 8pm
How it Started
Formed in 1961 with a single wooden court to its current site on Harlaxton Road where courts were added over a number of years totalling 7. One court has now been converted into a 2-tier air-conditioned gymnasium. A number of other facilities have been added to make GSFC one of the top clubs in the East Midlands.
We are affiliated to England Squash and hosts a number of County matches as well as Junior and Senior England Squash events.
