July Update

Dear all
We have today been given the good news that squash clubs can reopen, given some social distancing and we will be making a decision in the near future about our intended opening date and the rules that we will have to apply to give you the members, and our staff, a clean and safe environment to come to. Whilst we await contact from England Squash with their help and advice on how we should open, the likelihood is that you would come ready to play and will have to book in advance. The committee will be meeting shortly to finalise the arrangements and once they have done so we will be able to communicate with you all, how we are going to operate initially. This will include opening hours, maximum members in any one area, entry to the club and many other things that in our next communication will be specified. We would like to thank you all, for your encouragement and understanding throughout the closed period and you can be assured that we are working harder than ever to give you a clean, safe and pleasant experience.
Work has been completed to fully redecorate the premises, with new showers and extraction fans in the gents changing rooms, 3 new pieces of equipment in the gym and work completed to make the entrance more welcoming.
We intend to communicate with you all again very shortly.
Best regards on behalf of the committee
John Baldwin Chairman
